FARN at the IUCN World Conservation Congress 2025

From 9 to 15 October, FARN will take part in the IUCN World Conservation Congress in Abu Dhabi, where governments, organizations, and communities from around the world will come together to set priorities and drive global action on biodiversity and sustainable development.

Ana Di Pangracio, Deputy Executive Director at FARN and IUCN Councillor for Meso and South America, and Cristian Fernandez, Legal Affairs Coordinator, will engage in key discussions on protecting environmental defenders, integrating human rights into the energy transition, and advancing gender equality in biodiversity conservation.
